It was beautiful day for Mary and Cole’s wedding. Both of them arrived for their wedding ceremony at Prestonwood Baptist Church calm and collected. Mary arrived with makeup and hair done, and coffee in hand–a girl after my own heart. They had a great wedding party. Seriously, I’ve never seen such teamwork between bridesmaids to get their main girl ready to walk down the aisle, plus groomsmen who actually wanted to take pictures with the girl’s bouquets.
As a photographer, I don’t just arrive for the day the day, take photos, and leave. I’m invested in their wedding day, striving to make it match my bride and groom’s vision, but I’m also invested in their relationship because I know that a wedding day is just day one of their new life as husband and wife. It was so encouraging for me to see throughout Mary and Cole’s wedding day how God-centered they kept the day, from their vows to the encouraging words said by family and friends.
