When Katie and I were discussing potential locations for their engagement session, I was thrilled when she said she liked the idea of using their venue. I was happy not only because it’s always nice to have an indoor space available for summer engagement sessions, but LOVED what I had seen of the Springs Valley View location online and wanted to see if it lived up to the hype in person.
This venue looks like it should be somewhere like Virginia, not in Texas. From the dramatic view when you enter the driveway, to the charming brick paths, I love the historic feel of this place. Next year Katie and Maguire will marry inside of their charming onsite chapel before celebrating with friends and family inside the massive ballroom. Can you believe this used to be someone’s home? Colton’s first question was “how did they decorate for Christmas?!”
Katie and Maguire did so well during their session, the wedding day is going to be a breeze! These two were so relaxed in front of the camera, and not once did they complain about photographing out in the Texas sun–we had their session in the morning but that heat still comes in fast!
