Modern Farmhouse Wedding Venues

I’m calling these venues “Modern Farmhouse.” Is that the right description? I’m not sure. But these venues are mostly white, lean toward modern but have softer touches than a fully modern venue, and some have rustic elements as well. So that description feels right for me. There’s a great big variety to these, but in general, they’re going to have southern elements without being a full-on barn or covered in rustic wood.

Covered Bridge is located in Springtown, Texas–just a short drive from Fort Worth. It’s very secluded, and dramatically placed on top of a hill, overlooking the venue’s private elk herd. The venue gets its name from the covered bridge you drive through to reach the venue. Amenities include to beautifully sized suites for the wedding party to get ready in, an indoor ceremony space, an outdoor ceremony space with waterfall backdrop, and a huge reception area with dramatic views on the patio!

Located near Waco, this venue adds romantic and rustic elements with draping and exposed wood. Able to host events of up to 250 guests, enjoy the beautiful gardens, courtyard and indoor ballroom. Did I mention there’s onsite housing available?

Located near McKinney, this venue is probably the hardest to categorize for me; a little bit southern, a bit industrial, but with a whimsical layout that gave me modern Alice in Wonderland vibes. It’s one of those venues rich with style you really just need to experience for yourself.

This beautiful venue, also located near McKinney, is probably the most modern feeling of the bunch. Enjoy the option of an indoor chapel ceremony, complete with black pew seating, or opt for a charming outdoor ceremony. Guests can enjoy cocktail hour under the covered pavilion before heading in for your grand reception.

Romantic and southern charm are two words that come to mind when I think of this north Texas venue. Your groom will get ready in his own cottage while you are dolled up in the bridal suite adjacent to the indoor chapel–which if not used for you ceremony, can be a lounge area during your reception!
