For all my couples, I like to give them a little “pep talk” before we officially begin. Like most couples, Phyllis and Brad were a bit nervous about being in front of the camera, so I reassured them I would tell them everything they needed to know and to not worry. Once we got started, I could not understand WHY they were nervous. These two are so clearly smitten with one another–photographing them together was a breeze.
To make things even better, Phyllis chose Stoney Ridge Villa in Azle for their session, one of my favorite venues here in north Texas. The Villa looks great year round but you cannot top it when the fall colors come to the trees. We had the best light, the sun was just starting to set as we went on the roof for some portraits on Stoney Ridge’s iconic roof.
And a moment for our bride-to-be’s style! Phyllis wore a satin mini dress with a modern fit. Having a little bridal style in your engagement session is such a fun way to tie your engagement photos to your wedding day. I just know she’s going to choose a fantastic wedding dress!
