Feeling all the love today from family and friends.
I didn’t think we’d have a shower in preparation for this little one. I’ve been closing ranks in my social circles and there’s just not as much “hoopla” after you’ve had the first kid. But it has been a while–our oldest is about to be 60 months old–and ya always need diapers.
So when two friends found out I wasn’t expecting a shower, they combined forces for a small gathering of dear ones, sweet treats, and coffee!
And of course, it was at my favorite coffee shop, Northside Remedy in Weatherford, TX

P.S. EPIC stands for Edmund Phineas Icarius Claborn, and is not the baby’s name. We have a code names for our kiddos before they’re born so we can keep the name a surprise! Ames’s code name was Phantom Scott Sherlock.
