After photographing Jennifer and Lucas’s engagement session, I will guarantee you that their wedding will be a fantastic and fun wedding day. Why? Let me tell you.
It was beautiful weather for an engagement session–a little warm but with a breeze, nice bright light with few clouds. What it wasn’t beautiful travel conditions–somehow I’d missed that Taylor Swift was in town, causing Jennifer and Lucas to go through all the Eras Tour traffic, and then there was construction happening right at the main entrance for our portrait location so we had to do a bit of a hike to get to my favorite photo spots.
But these two were so unfazed by everything, and made the session so effortless. Did I mention they brought their adorable pups along? Kira’s little head tilt might just have been my favorite thing. Their wedding at Dove Ridge this fall is going to be a blast!

So many good photos of two very special people our granddaughter and her fiancé. It will be hard to choose.
