Ever meet someone for the first time, but you’ve been told so much about them and they’ve been told so much about you that it’s less “nice to meet you” and more “nice to see you”? That was me and Marli (and technically Lucas too).
Marli and Colton work together as environmental scientists, so I knew Marli was cool with roughing it a bit, granted her work outfits do not entail formal gowns and heels.
Her and Lucas were so easy to photograph; it’s a delight working with couples who just enjoy each other. All I had to do was place them in a beautiful spot with lovely lighting and let them be, happy to just stand next to one another.
The Airfield Falls in Fort Worth was a perfect backdrop for their engagement photos, and their outfits add the right touch of glam. All my couples receive a style guide, and when I saw them in their first outfit, I was SO proud.
I can’t wait to see what they plan for their summer wedding, Marli has a great style—check out her engagement ring from Midwinter Co. featuring a celestial diamond. But most of all, after spending time with them, I know they’re going to have a beautiful marriage.
And now, enjoy their gorgeous engagement session!

As Marli’s parents- Mike and Sheri Claytor- Claytor Ranch- what beautiful photos. What a wonderful gift they have been blessed with to document this time in their life.
Beautiful couple equals beautiful pictures. As, Marli’s Aunt Terri and Uncle Roger we are so proud of all Marli’s accomplishments, and excited to embrace Lucas in our family. Wishing them much love and happiness in the future. These pictures are absolutely beautiful.
Beautiful pictures. We watched you grow up Marli. Very happy for you.
These pictures are absolutely gorgeous, almost as much as the sweet couple that are in them! Thank you for sharing these precious moments! We are so excited for this couple & what the Lord has planned for them!
