Dear Rowan,
You’re two months now. I gave up dairy in hopes it would ease your fussiness; in return you had a growth spurt/sleep regression and stopped napping (almost).
However, I’ve determined in your short time, your real grievance is your absolute disdain for infancy. You loathe being cradled in the arms of an adult, to soothe you is to hold you upright so you may stand on your baby legs. You wish to have conversation, and despise when people talk about you like you’re not in the room. And I have never seen someone so offend by their lack of neck stability.
Also it appears you are already teething, because you’re other frustrations weren’t enough.
It’s a good thing you’re cute and have decided you enjoy baths.
Sincerely,
Mum
P.S. Two days ago you smiled at me because I smiled at you. Thanks kid.
