Mineral Wells Wedding Venues

Mineral Wells–an hour west of Fort Worth–the town beloved by the adventurous and outdoorsy thanks to its fantastic state park and biking trails (as bicycles and myself don’t get along, I’m taking people’s word for it), is getting attention from an even wider crowd thanks to efforts to revitalize the historic downtown space.

Once a thriving tourist destination, made famous by our “Crazy Water,” Mineral Wells is working again to become the perfect weekend getaway for north Texans; And according to an interview in the New York Times, endeavoring to become the wedding capital of north Texas–possibly the whole state. As my little hometown continues to grow and revitalize, I thought it was due time to highlight the beautiful options for weddings in Mineral Wells, Texas.

Now technically, Clark Gardens has a Weatherford address; but as it is just minutes from the city limits of Minerals Wells, I consider it within this scope of venues. With multiple options for your wedding day, it is easy to create a beautiful garden wedding unique to any others. When the sunlight dims, enjoy an alfresco reception under the garden’s permanent tent and the tranquil sounds of the nearby fountain.

This venue is *coming soon* but has me riddled with anticipation

The Grand Old Lady of Mineral Wells was once the center of a thriving tourist destination. Currently under renovation, expect the hotel to be open–ready for weddings and guests in 2025/2026. There will be wedding gardens just past the pool, perfect for your ceremony; then follow it up with a reception in one of their grand ballrooms–including one in the famous Cloud Room that sits atop the hotel.

I don’t care that I like less than 30 minutes away and this is my old hometown, I will be booking a room here when it opens so I can say I stayed at the Baker.

What a historic hotel that’s ready to host your nuptials now? Look no further than The Crazy Water Hotel. Renovated to fit the 1920’s–its era of original construction. This venue provides beautiful rooms and suites for your guests to enjoy. For venue spaces, you can fit 250 of your nearest and dearest in the rooftop ballroom, complete with outdoor patio and private bar space. Need a bit more space? The downstairs pavilion space accommodates 300.

Continuing the historic theme, travel a bit west of Mineral Wells and enjoy the beautiful seclusion of Rest Yourself River Ranch. Overlooking the Brazos river, this historic hacienda-style guest ranch can house up to 83 with abounding amenities. With opulent views, spaces rich with character, you and your guests will love spending time here.

A little less typical, but no less beautiful, is the historic post office building owned by the Mineral Wells Women’s Club. This turn of the century venue is available for rent and is sure to wow your guests with its character and charm.

Whether for epic portraits and a stunning backdrop to your elopement, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Lake Mineral Wells State Park. Perfect spot for some unique portraits or a beautiful place to exchange vows, or just wanting to explore, it’s worth a visit.
