Hello Dearies,
Today we’ve got a Q&A with a vendor that makes our job just a wee bit harder–they make the reception such a fun time its hard not to hop on to the dance floor (or keep a camera steady while we die laughing during a boys vs. girls sing off).
ProSound Dj is based out of Decatur, Texas and sure to keep your reception hopping and all your guests on the dance floor, having a good time.
What's your background?
I am originally from Phoenix, AZ and moved to Texas in 2006. I didn’t have any hobbies before getting into DJing because I was actually still in high school when i was first getting started.
How did you become a DJ?
A family friend was a DJ and double booked a Saturday night and asked if I was available to cover one. Of course I said yes and the night went great and at the end of the night they asked if we would come back again the following week. Ever since then I have been hooked.
What services do you offer?
As of now we are offering DJ and MCEE serevices. Which includes DJ and lights and an MCEE to cover all special announcements and to help keep the night going.
When should brides reach to out to DJ for their wedding?
Brides should start looking into getting a DJ ASAP. DJ’s book anywhere between 6-24 months in advance.
What should brides have in mind when it comes to choosing a DJ?
Brides should definitely look into having a DJ that offers MCEE services. The MCEE should be out with the crowd making sure everyone is having the time of their life’s. You don’t want to hire a DJ that stands behind a tables and only plays music. You want to have interaction with the crowd to make for the most successful night possible.
What are your tips for having the best reception for their guests?
Enjoy the night. Take a moment sometime in the night And sit back and look at all the people that came to your special night and to celebrate with you. The more the bride and groom are on the dance floor the more you’re guest are going to following
